Summary
1942: Steel factories - industrial strides forward made by India in the production of weapons. Agricultural life remains largely unchanged; primitive methods are still in use and are contrasted here with modern methods of steel production. Production of rifle and machine gun bullets in the factory. The manufacture of shells, tent material, shirts and uniforms. The production of tons of paper in the factory. Men of the Indian Airforce. Sikh soldiers in Egypt. The Eritrean Campaign: Indian troops climb the heights of Keren and blaze their way into Asmara and Massawa; they storm Agordat and Harar, and capture Berbera. In action in second Libyan campaign. Development of shipbuilding.
