Summary

King George of Greece and Sir Stafford Cripps visit Egypt. Another visitor to Egypt is Emir Mansour of Saudi Arabia who visits Prince Mohamed Ali at his palace. Inspects aircraft at RAF aerodrome; flies to the Western Desert where he inspects armoured fighting vehicles of the Allied forces. On return to Cairo he attends a luncheon in his honour at the British Embassy. Among those present are Sir Miles Lampson, Sir Walter Monckton, General Auchinleck, Air Marshal Tedder and Admiral Cunningham (and Sir Stafford Cripps). [sic brackets]
