- Churchill receives a huge welcome in Ottawa. Churchill is met by Mackenzie King. Mr Roosevelt makes a speech before Mr Churchill leaves. Churchill makes a speech in the Canadian House of Commons, and speaks of his talks with Roosevelt. Presented with a fur hat, while at a press conference in Ottawa. Inspects Royal Canadian Airforce station. At the White House: Shots of Mr Churchill with his personal assistant Commander Thompson, Mr Harry Hopkins and his daughter Diana with the President’s dog, Fella. Demonstrates his siren suit. Flies a plane to Bermuda. Captain Kelly Rogers commands the flying boat. Admiral Pound, Lord Beaverbrook and Air Marshal Portal were passengers.
