We flash back to the days of her construction and launch by Princess Elizabeth. SHOTLIST: KS GV SS Caronia. MS Caronia at quayside & tied up. LIBRARY - Elevated GV Princess Elizabeth & Duke arrive. Cut-in crowds in dockyard, Princess speaks before launching Caronia. Launches ship, bottle hits bows, ship starts down slipway & enters water. SOUTHAMPTON - MS deck of Caronia. Passengers board ship. Interior shots of cocktail bar, statuettes, cinema, etc. Captain Sorrell walks along quay. SCU Sorrell speaks about dollar making ship. MS mast fully dressed. MS ship fully dressed.
