- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Royal Command Variety Performance. DESCRIPTION: Their Majesties enjoy the Royal Variety Command performance, amongst those performing were Danny Kaye and the Crazy Gang. SHOTLIST: CUT STORY: KS Crowds outside at night in rain. (All night material). Various shots of crowds being pushed about and controlled by the police. Elevated Royal car arrives. Cut-in crowds. Elevated Princess Margaret alights, Duke of Edinburgh alights, followed by King and Queen. After being received, enter theatre. In foyer Queen in presented to Mrs Bud Flanagan and Sylvia Fine (Mrs Danny Kaye). Walk past camera. Royal party individually followed by Peter Townsend. GV audience. Cut-in Royal box, King, Queen & Princess, the latter stands up during excitement. LS John Tiller Girls performing. Acrobats - Warren, Latona and Sparks, turning somersaults. Cut-in Royal Box with King, Queen & Princess laughing. Crazy Gang perform (very quick shot), place toy horse in front of Royal Box. SCU Crazy Gang and Danny Kaye on stage. Cut-in audience. Royal Box, Queen acknowledges, with King standing beside her, about to leave. Very good interior scenes.
