- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: D-Day Ceremonies and Auriol With the Fleet. DESCRIPTION: President Auriol of France recently conferred the Legion of Honour and the Croix de Guerre on the city of Brest. The President also inspected a number of warships which were lying in the harbour. President Auriol has also visited Caen and Arromanches as part of his tour of Normandy.
