MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Princess and Duke Capture Paris. DESCRIPTION: Princess Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh received a rapturous welcome in Paris. The couple enjoyed a trip on the River Seine and a visit to the races, as well as their official duties. SHOTLIST: CUT STORY: KS Elevated - Gare du Nord. Elevated Royal car leaves station. Driving through cheering streets, crowds cheering, waving etc. Elevated Royal car along Champs Elysees, GV of same with Arc de Triomphe in background. GV Royal car stopping at Arc de Triomphe. Princess and Duke alight, greeted by person unknown. Cut-in Guard of Honour - National French Guard. Princess and Duke walk towards Tomb. Wreath being placed on Unknown Warriors Tomb. CU wreath shows name of Princess and Duke. SV SCU Princess signing Golden Book. SCU Duke signing Golden Book. CU their signatures in Golden Book. Elevated shot Royal car arrival at Elysee Palace. Couple alight, walk up steps into Palace. (Guard stationed at various intervals in grounds). Interior - SCU Princess and President Auriol. Princess smiles to finish.
