MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Cheltenham National Hunt Meeting. DESCRIPTION: The National Hunt ‘Chase at Cheltenham was won by Bruno II ridden by Major Cunard. At Aintree the jumps are being prepared for the Grand National. SHOTLIST: KS GV parade ring. Horses being harnessed and mounted. Elevated GV of parade ring. MS cups and trophies exhibited. LS horses parade along track. LS start and over first jump and past camera. Crowd shot. National Hunt Chase - Slow motion - one of the jumps - no falls. Normal speed - over another jump, one falls Glengarra throws rider. Another jump - no falls. Swing shot as horses race in country. Into camera - Bruno II over last jump. Panning shot - horse up straight and past winning post. Winner led in. Jackey unsaddles Bruno II. CU Bruno II. AINTREE - Rails being painted white. Various shots of repairs and preparation going on for the Grand National, jumps being trimmed, filled with water, man turns on water. MS Becher’s Brook, MS & SCU winning post being placed in position.
