- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Anti-Thug Taxi Device. DESCRIPTION: A device which automatically sounds an alarm when a taxi driver is attacked. SHOTLIST: KS Taxi drives along road to standstill. Driver looks into engine where device ‘Klaxon horn’ is. Shot of driver in his seat, attached string to his sleeve. Taxi draws up to standstill, passenger alights, hands note to driver and hits him with what appears to be a truncheon. Assailant runs away, two pedestrians run to driver’s aid, try to hold thug, who runs off down road. Two men help driver. (As driver slumps after being hit the klaxon automatically starts.)
