MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Empire Lark Scuttled. DESCRIPTION: The Empire Lark is loaded with tons of chemical weapons and towed into the Bay of Biscay, she is then scuttled. SHOTLIST: KS GV SS Empire Lark at Barry Docks. Men with gas masks on load ship with gas containers, shells etc. Elevated shot of hold being loaded with gas containers etc. Tugs tow her out of harbour and getting under way. Shots of her lying in Bay of Biscay. Naval officer marking map with compass. LS & GVs of Empire Lark gradually going down, bows above water and sinking.
