MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Animals - Would You Believe It. DESCRIPTION: Some amusing stories from the animal world such as the fire station cat who follows his master down the pole. SHOTLIST: KS Four kids (goats) in basket. Several shots of kids running around - they are quadruplets - springing into air. Shots of them on the farm at Illinois. Several MS of kids drinking from milk bottles, SCU of them, also SCU of their tails wagging. In Australia, GV of hen’s nest in tree, several shots of same, showing net underneath tree to catch eggs, shot of egg falling into net. At Wellington, New Zealand, MS keeper holding penguin presented by Byrd’s expedition to zoo. Keeper takes penguin into cage, cut-ins of CU of owl. CU parrot, MS of monkeys all watching new arrival. Keeper feeding baby penguin. Britain - Interior - Seagull on hearth-rug, shots of cat walking round same and closely inspecting seagull, which is quite unconcerned, this is in Surrey. Shot of seagull in sink walking around in water with feet on bottom. Cat still looks on, not attempting to touch bird. In New Jersey, USA, interior shots - CU cat lying on rug. Several shots of children throwing article in the air, and Harry the cat springing into air and catching same. At Boston, firemen seated at table one of them holds a cat called Tapper. CU fire bell (alarm) ringing. Firemen jump up and slide down pole to ground floor, GV of cat sliding down pole following firemen. MS fireman holding cat in arms.
