- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Smertenko Banned From England. DESCRIPTION: In defiance of a Home Office ban Professor Smertenko landed in a private plane at Croydon Airport. After spending the night in a Police Station he was escorted back to the plane and left. SHOTLIST: KS Messerschmitt plane taxies across Croydon aerodrome. Small groups await outside aerodrome offices, group shot of still cameramen, Smertenko comes out of offices escorted by police, walks over to plane, cut-ins of plane, tail etc. Smertenko boards plane with pilot and his two American reporters. MS of four seated in plane, plane taxies and takes off out of camera.
