MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: America Tests New Navy Torpedo. DESCRIPTION: In America surplus war material is used as the target for testing a new torpedo. SHOTLIST: KS Top shot of German submarine under tow by tug. GV U-boat and American submarine. Interior shots of American sub, shows torpedo being loaded into tube. Commander looks through periscope. Firing torpedo and torpedo hits German U-boat amid ships, which blows up, LS of her sinking, after breaking in two.
