Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Paterson V Medina for European Bantamweight Title. DESCRIPTION: At Hampden Park, Glasgow Jackie Paterson fought Theo Medina for the European Bantamweight Title. However, cramp over came the Scotsman and Medina took the title. SHOTLIST: KS CU both boxers in ring fighting. Crowd shot. MS Mrs Medina in audience. MS Theo Medina seated in his corner. Several shots, various angles of fight in progress. Cut-ins of audience. Medina floors Paterson end of second round. Cut-in crowds. Third round - both going all out, neither using any technique. Medina gets some nasty hits home, slips on one occasion on canvas. In fourth round, fighting, Paterson swings a right and misses, finishes on canvas, grimacing with pain caused through cramp. Referee counts him out, Medina acknowledged as winner. Paterson carried out of ring in pain.
