- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: General Eisenhower’s Royal Hosts. DESCRIPTION: General and Mrs Eisenhower, together with their son John enjoy a holiday at Culzean Castle, Scotland. They are also the guests of the Royal Family at Balmoral. SHOTLIST: CUT STORY: KS GV Ayrshire coastline. GV main gate to Culzean Castle, several picturesque views of the grounds, situated on the coast. Eisenhower, his wife and son Captain John Eisenhower arrive by car, greeted by the Marquess and Marchioness of Ailsa. Interior - Ike and wife seated at window looking out to sea. Cut-ins of beautiful surrounding countryside - special scenic shots. On the terrace, Ike and son inspect old cannons etc. Slip-pan to Balmoral Castle, Royal Family and Eisenhower family walk towards camera in straight line. MS of same. Various close-ups of the above, talking (silent). Ike shows the King a book believed to be War. CU Ike and King, Ike removes his hat. King in Highland dress. King tries to persuade one of their dogs to face camera, dog refuses.
