Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Can You Take It. Sydney Radio Stunt. DESCRIPTION: The streets of Sydney were jammed by a stunt that was the result of the radio programme Can You Take It. SHOTLIST: KS Crowds outside a Sydney Theatre cause complete traffic jam. Pitt Street jammed to suffocation. Pram with comedian in same lifted over the heads of the crowd. Interest - audience watch Bob Dyer’s Can You take it session. Pram wheeled onto stage. One of the audience being unable to answer a question, has to wheel the pram along Pitt Street tomorrow. Another penalty to pay is a fellow lying flat on the floor is told to lift telephone receiver and to convince his wife that he is at his friend’s house. Cut-in of audience applauding and laughing. A girl has to choose the ripest of three melons, one of them being a bald headed man, of course the girl is blindfolded.
