MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Flood Crisis. DESCRIPTION: Floods have hit several parts of Western England, the Dee Valley near Chester has seen a lot of damage. Shrewsbury has three routes into the city flooded. SHOTLIST: KS Aerial shot of Dee Valley. Aerial - shows floods near Holt, south of Chester. Farmhouses isolated. Ground shot of Shrewsbury, streets flooded, people walk along temporary bridges, police in boats issue bread. Civilians paddle canoe through streets. Rushing water through narrow streets. Aerial - railway station of Stafford under water and surrounding country also under water. Banks of River Trent broken.
