Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Kiel - Grave of German Fleet. DESCRIPTION: Lying in Kiel are German ships which have been sunk by the Royal Air Force. SHOTLIST: KS GV harbour shot from stern of moving launch. Shots of Hamburg-Amerika Liner "New York" lying on her side. Panning shot round the 10,000 ton cruiser "Admiral Hipper" which has only her super-structure showing above water. Various bomb holes in deck of ship. Pan to smaller cruiser "Emden", various shots of her in sunken condition. Trucking shot of wreckage of U-boats appearing above water level. Bows of two pre-fabricated U-boats on quay. Capsized hulk of the pocket battleship "Admiral Scheer", several shots of same. GV again shot from stern of launch. Please note all shots are taken from a launch. Ensign flies on launch.
