Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Left Behind - Goebbels Castle & Civilians. DESCRIPTION: In the German city of Rheydt stands the castle which was presented to Dr Goebbels, now the Allies occupy the town. In Krefeld German civilians loot a truck of food and clothing until stopped by a couple of GIs. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. GV of Goebbels Castle. GV entrance of Castle, American troops stand guard over same, various shots of the Castle, Rheydt. Crowds of civilians at Juchen, just stand about the streets awaiting to be told where & what to do. At Krefeld, Germans looting a motor-lorry, GIs arrive & clear people away.
