Summary: [1ST SUBTITLE]: "The French nation pays a moving tribute to the victims of this - the most terrible disaster in aerial history." French troops ride through a curtained archway into the town square at Beauvais, followed by an open cart bearing coffins. Rear view of a coffin with Union Jack being placed on a cart. A cart goes past accompanied by soldiers and followed by dignitaries. Close shot of one of the survivors with a bandaged head. Wreaths are carried followed by more dignitaries. African troops on horseback in the square. A general view of the town square with crowds watching from the edge as three of the carts circle round. [2ND SUBTITLE]: "At Boulogne". British naval ratings salute arms. Panning shot as train arrives behind them. Dignitaries pass by. The coffins are taken from the train. Close shot of three of the survivors, including man with bandaged head. Close shot of a coffin lowered to the ground. Naval ratings with bowed heads standing by a coffin. A coffin is lifted by crane from the dock onto HMS ‘Tribune’. Coffins are carried on deck.
