- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Mosquitos Attack Shipping Off Norway. DESCRIPTION: On the fifth of December, thirty-four Mosquitoes of Coastal Command struck at a number of German merchant ships and their escorts. The Nazi ships were lying in between snow-capped mountains on the Norwegian coast. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Snow-capped mountains. Mosquitos taxies & takes off from aerodrome. Shots of them flying low over sea, also gaining height, approaching target. GV of Mosquito, also another as it peels off. Diving on shipping in fjord, various excellent aerial shots of Mosquitos attacking with cannon fire & rockets, ships hit & burning, various shots of snow-capped mountains as camera plane went in low to get pictures; ships return fire. Mosquitos return across North Sea, not very high, and in formation.
