- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The "Fourteenth". DESCRIPTION: The British 14th Army has been engaged in some of the heaviest land fighting against the Japanese in Burma. They have to endure extremely tough conditions both in climate and terrain. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. British troops with mule convoy through jungle. Shots of convoy passing over bridge. Mules through jungle. British troops hauling heavy artillery over muddy tracks. GV of artillery gun firing. British troops wade through stream. Bren gunners at their posts. Shots of convoy of troops carrying cases of supplies, food etc, through mountainous jungle country. Troops stop at encampment for night, water being passed (chain style) along to camp. Water being issued to troops. Various shots of the monsoon rains, just teeming with rain.
