MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Omens of German Disillusion. DESCRIPTION: German army officers have revolted against Hitler but as in 1939 the attempt has failed. SHOTLIST: Cut story - (Library Material) Various shots of Hitler, Goering, Mussolini & other high ranking German officers, shots of wreckage at Munich Beer Cellar, taken from File No 37846. From captured German Newsreel - German transport through streets, country roads etc. CU German officers (sinister type). German tanks across plains, this is in the Crimea. German art, fires, transport burns, Russian prisoners brought in. CU types Germans, arrogant etc. German AA guns fire at Russian planes, one seen to crash. Germans evacuate Crimea, shots of few craft off coast. Shot of wash of craft at speed, another shot of ships. (Russian Newsreel - Various shots of Russian troops & armour entering towns, & long lines of German prisoners.
