- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Invasion Coast Hit Attack By Marauders. DESCRIPTION: The United States Ninth Air Force have made a concentrated attack on airfields, marshalling yards etc. in areas adjacent to the invasion coast. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Flare burns on edge of runway, as Marauder lands. GS of Eisenhower, group shots of Eisenhower, Spaatz, Brereton, & Leigh-Mallory. Group on control tower watch, Marauders taxi & take off. Prior to this Eisenhower walks over aerodrome & inspects one of the crews. Aerial shots of formation of Marauders in flight, also flying above the clouds. Aerial shots of targets: marshalling yards, railway junctions, etc. Bombs falling & explosions caused by same (pattern bombing). Marauders returning to their base. Shot of engines of Marauder with sun setting in background.
