MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Second Front Transport - Folding Cycles. DESCRIPTION: Lightweight folding bicycles are being produced for airborne troops to use once they have landed behind enemy coastal defences. Also being produced is a light weight motor-bike. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Interior shot of factories shows the making of collapsible bicycles. Women works at benches, greasing component parts, fixing bearing etc. Soldier demonstrates how to assemble same in few minutes. Then there is the collapsible motor bike, this is also seen under construction, & workers riding round on same. One is taken out of a canister.
