MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Montgomery With Factory Workers. DESCRIPTION: General Montgomery recently paid a visit to factory workers in Britain. During his address he stressed the vital importance of the work of the home front. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Monty’s car arrives, driven through crowds of people. Soldiers with rifles keep crowds back. Monty in centre of small group of people. Crowds cheering etc. Interior shot shows Monty on stage, with large audience cheering, & applauding etc. MS & CU of Montgomery who makes a speech about how the Home Front & the Battle Front have got to co-operate & work together etc.
