Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: China’s Army in South-East Asia. DESCRIPTION: Lord Louis Mountbatten recently had discussions with General Chiang Kai Shek. They also inspected China’s Army who are under going extensive training before moving up to the front. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Several shots of Lord Louis, Madame Chiang Kai Shek & Chiang Kai Shek conversing. Walk towards Jeep, Lord Louis assists Madame Shek into same. Jeep drives off with three on board. Chinese troops doubling onto parade ground. MS of Chiang Kai Shek making speech. Planes in flight over jungle, supplies dropped by parachute, various shots. Various shots of Chinese leading mule packs through jungles, digging trenches, firing howitzers, firing small arms from trench. Stilwell makes presentations to Chinese for gallantry, etc.
