- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Thanks to the Red Cross. DESCRIPTION: The Red Cross continues to pack parcels which help to alleviate the hardship of our prisoners of war. Several repatriated prisoners visited the London headquarters and expressed thanks for the parcels they had received. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Various interior shots of Red Cross nurses packing parcels of foodstuffs. Also medical supplies ie wooden leg, etc. CU Mrs Bromley Davenport makes short speech about parcels for our wounded prisoners, etc. Various shots of Mrs Bromley Davenport escorting some repatriated prisoners round the depot, (Wimborne House, London). CUs of Trooper Ernest, Private Tridell, Private Childs, & Trooper Emmett, being asked various questions, about conditions of prison camps, also how they were treated etc.
