- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Premier’s "Thanks for Victory" Visit. DESCRIPTION: Mr Churchill visits North Africa to say thanks to the victors. He travels around meeting different units of Allied troops. He used General Alexander’s famous white car and everywhere received a rousing welcome. At lunch at RAF Headquarters Air Chief Marshal Sir Arthur Tedder and Air Vice Marshal Coningham did the honours. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Group shot of Eden & Tedder. Also Tedder, Anderson & Eden background wrecked hangars. Churchill shakes hands with Alexander, acknowledges Eden; Eden. Churchill, Brooke, Anderson & Alexander exchange hand shakes.
