Summary

[SUBTITLE]: "Mr AE Newbould, Chairman of the Cinema Exhibitors’ Association, who has been returned for West Leyton by a majority of 2,019. During the election Mr Newbould fell ill, but thanks to Mrs Newbould, who stepped into the breach, the seat was won for the kinema." AE Newbould (Liberal) and his wife in Chelsea after winning the West Leyton bye-election.
