Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: England Beats Scotland - Soccer. DESCRIPTION: Hampden Park was the venue for England’s four nil defeat of Scotland. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Various shots of crowds entering stadium, also youths climbing over fences, to evade paying entrance fee, England followed by Scotland onto field, various shots of play, including the scoring of three goals. England won 4-0, goals being scored by Carter (2), Westcott, & Compton. Before the match started teams were present to M Jan Masaryk. Czech Prime Minister, various shots of him shaking hands with teams. Although I didn’t mention in cut story (Cullis) there were some good shots of him in action.
