- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Reports From the Eastern Front (Russian Newsreels No 10). DESCRIPTION: Scenes from the Voronezh front in Russia with British tanks in actions. SHOTLIST: Cut story - General view of tree tops, wintry landscape, pan down to ground. Ski troops passing through forest, LS of artillery on horizon & GS of same firing, various angles. Troops in trenches (this story is on Voronezh Front), suddenly duck as a tank passes right over them, tank out of trench, & several shots of tanks crossing fields (snow covered) tanks being Kristy Kruiser & British Matildas. GS tanks & infantry passing burning buildings, few shots of prisoners being led in by Lt Jacob Esser. Shots of Storkoviks in formation, they swoop low over enemy convoy & machine gun it, German can be seen scattering to side of road & taking cover, rather good shot.
