Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Armoured Canadians on Parade. DESCRIPTION: The King recently visited Canadian troops in Southern England. Units of a Canadian Army Tank Brigade were inspected and later "Churchills" of the Ontario Regiment drove past. SHOTLIST: Cut Story - The King with General McNaughton, Major General Roberts & Major General Worthington walk along ranks of tank corps. GS of Churchill tanks (largest number yet shot) assembled with crews standing in front; CU of Royal Standard being unfurled, & flying, King with McNaughton & Mr Massey in Bren Carrier inspecting tanks, King alighting from Bren Carrier. Long lines of Churchills drive past, with 6 pounder gun dipped in salute. (CU Track of Churchill tank while on move - this is in cut story). The above is the 1st Armoured Canadian Brigade (Ontario Regiment).
