- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Father Xmas - US Xmas Tank Story. DESCRIPTION: American troops in Britain have played Father Christmas for local children. SHOTLIST: LS General Lee tank in two lines crossing valley into camera, various other angle shots of same. CU soldier in gun turret of tank waving signal flag. Lone Lee into camera finishing up as close-up. US soldier dressed up as Father Christmas standing by Christmas tree, distributing presents to Yank soldiers, one opens his parcel to see what he has, finds its a tie, & commences to laugh. Lee up to camera Father Christmas gets out complete with tin hat & Tommy gun. Children run up to him, he hands them various presents.
