- [SUBTITLE]: "The murderers of Nurse Cavell deem it necessary to show how they are regarded by the inhabitants of the countries they have invaded. ‘A guilty conscience needs no accusing’." A Belgian woman, her husband and small daughter come out of their house with a German soldier who gives them assurances and chalks a message in German (stating that the people living there are ‘good people’) on the outside of the door, with the admiring approval of the family.
