MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Genoa Raid. DESCRIPTION: In close-up one of our Lancaster’s, high explosives and incendiaries, pour down on Genoa in profusion, a vivid flash of an actual blow struck - a picture never to be forgotten. SHOTLIST: Cut Story - Commences with library material: Night shots of Lancasters preparing for raid, taxiing. CU nose of machine, ground staff member signal with lamp, planes answers, it then taxies into wind & takes off. - From CARD 42735 Rest if RAFFU, which actually consists of Genoa completely lit by fires, bombs falling, camera goes out to sea then comes in again for second time. All the above are night shots. This is excellent material.
