- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Exchange of Prisoners of War. DESCRIPTION: Repatriated prisoners of war arrive in Egypt onboard the "Llandovery Castle". SHOTLIST: A ship reaches harbour, with the Red Cross on the side. Shots of the prisoners leaning over the side of the ship. They go down the gang-way, some being carried on stretchers, and many with crutches. Nurses are among them on the quayside and a shot of a group of sailors, also on the quayside. The prisoners are then put onto a train and there are shots of them hanging out of the windows with girls giving them cigarettes, etc. Nurses wave to them as the train leaves. They are seen eating a meal on the train. A group walk along the platform on crutches and a CU of one of same wearing a tammy, this is a soldier. One or two close-ups of men on stretchers. the above dope was taken from the material available. This may have been taken at a Middle East port.
