Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: War in the Philippines. DESCRIPTION: Japanese aircraft raid Manila, the capital of the Philippines. General MacArthur, the American Commander, eventually moved his army into the Bataan peninsular. SHOTLIST: Shots of the town outstanding buildings. Jap bombers are seen in the sky and after the raid there are familiar scenes of wreckage. Houses in ruins and wreckage still burning. General MacArthur presents medals to troops. There is another raid and huge columns of smoke and fires are seen.
