Summary
Pathe synopsis: Sculptor-painter Bainbridge Copnall smashes glass, then uses it to create a picture. He doesn’t paint on it, he paints with it. At his home in Littlebourne, Kent, he’s working on a huge screen, a memorial to Sir WInston Churchill which is to be erected in Dudley, Worcestershire. By mounting slabs and chips of coloured glass on top of each other he has built up, purely from glass, a magnificent mural with a translucent three-dimensional effect.
