Summary
Pathe synopsis: PC Slight is an accident inquiry officer who drives round on a noddy bike asking people questions. If that wasn’t enough, he’s one of the busiest bobbies on the beat. His home at Forest Gate, London, looks like a corner of the Tower of London, an armoury of flintlocks, muskets - engines of war galore, all restored to perfect working order by the ingenious, industrious PC Bert Slight. He’s also a good cook, do-it-yourself wizard, angler, embroiderer, dressmaker and painter, specialising in accurate reproductions of famous Old Masters like the Laughing Cavalier.
