Summary
Pathe synopsis: This is your tropical island in the Pacific Ocean. It is precisely as you would have created it in your imagination and there is no-one to dispute your ownership or jostle your elbow. It’s called the Ile des Pins because this pine-tree island is a French outpost in this big, blue expanse of sun-drenched water. We go from here to Noumea, which could be a Mediterranean township with its French chic and signs and succulent sea-food. We go on to Fiji where the Union Jack still flies and we find colour and excitement among the coral reefs. Here are enough paradise islands for you to visit a new one every day of the year, but the one you would give your soul to be shipwrecked on is Castaway’s Island. It belongs to you, and to you alone.
