- Summary
- Pathe synopsis: Come to the fiftieth state of the Union, the land of the sun, dazzling surf, cool blue water and nature’s own flower children. The Polynesians were here centuries before Captain Cook discovered these rocky coral reef islands. Now history is remembered at Sea Life Park a giant oceanarium where the old sailing clippers are moored as a museum reminder; and around them swim tame whale and dolphins performing a sea circus that’s of use to scientists probing the underwater talents of these giant sea mammals. See Ala Moana one of the biggest shopping arcades in the world, away in the middle of the Pacific; waikiki surf-riders; and of course the real, authentic, ever-welcoming hula danced at a luau, Hawaii’s roast-pig feast that goes way on into the firelit night.
