Summary
Pathe synopsis: Hardy country comes alive. The thronging, exciting sheep-fair-cum-circus of the fictional Greenhill village is alive in detail right down to the old-fashioned shepherds, the fairground strongmen and acrobats of Victorian England and the characters of Bathsheba Everdene, Sergeant Troy and Farmer Boldwood.
