Summary
Pathe synopsis: ... the Good King Wenceslas city of Europe whose soft sub-soil saves it from any sky-scraper invasion. This is a fairy city, Catholic and Communist at one and the same time. We see its unchanging beauty and we watch people skate and swim the icy river on Boxing Day, simply because they’ve decided that Prague has a beauty only to be savoured in the open air.
