Summary
Pathe synopsis: A lorry speeds across a rainsoaked skid-pad, the brakes squeal and the articulated trailer swings round wildly out of control. It’s a demonstration of jacknifing put on by Fred Hope of Bedfont, Middlesex. He’s developed a device to cut down this everyday danger on the roads. See the device in action on the same slippery surface and see for yourself whether it’s a safety aid with a future.
