Summary
Pathe synopsis: Come and see what happens when Blenheim Palace, the stately home of the Dukes of Marlborough, is taken over by a film company. We’re here to see the filming of Tommy Steele and Julia Foster in the banquet scene from "Half a Sixpence" where Kipps the Cockney kid so disgraces himself before high society. This is the first time film cameras have been allowed inside Blenheim and they recreate a regal scene that must have taken place many times in the history of this palace. It’s a tradition.
