Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Princess Royal Inspects ATS Conscripts and Volunteers. DESCRIPTION: The first of the ATS "Army Class" have reported for duty. They are greeted with light refreshments before undergoing medical inspections and fittings for uniforms. SHOTLIST: Princess Royal inspects parades and march pasts. Princess takes salute. ATS in civvies arrive at Lancaster Station. They march off to camp and Princess Royal speaks to new arrivals. The girls are given mugs, spoons, etc., and then take light refreshment, then there is a medical inspection. Harris’s material of ATS arriving at Guildford is also included.
