Summary
Pathe synopsis: ... but who looks after the buoys? Trinity House of course, sailing out today from Harwich to refuel the flashing lights that make the treacherous Dogger Bank relatively safe for our ships. So come sailing into danger with THV Siren as she heaves to in the very place where other ships are told to steer clear of. Then they hoist the buoy aboard, replenish the gas supply and then it’s a wash and brush off job getting rid of all the mussels, limpits and barnacles that hang on to a buoy for dear life.
