Summary

Pathe synopsis: ... with another fruit that’s becoming popular, the avocado pear. We see chefs competing to find the most mouth-watering way of serving the avocado at London’s Royal Garden Hotel. Once the avocado was eaten plain with a little oil and vinegar but to win the award of the Golden Avocado Pear the chefs have to contrive something a little more subtle - they have almost to become painters and sculpters to create a veritable banquet of colour from this dull green fruit.
