- Summary
- Pathe synopsis: A Liverpool factory was worried about the lack of experienced girl machinists, so a nursery was established to look after children and enable mums to return to their old jobs. Twenty toddlers are looked after by a trained staff and the firm provides play clothes, a laundry service, toys and three meals a day. To cap it all, the children are on the payroll and line up every Friday for their 3d wage packet.
